1. Information you may provide
Depending on the feature used, AuroraPlay may process information such as device identifier, activation code, account email, support message, provider/reseller information, selected language, playlist configuration, M3U URL or Xtream-compatible connection details. This information is used to connect the app with the user’s own legal source and to operate the software platform.
2. Local app storage
AuroraPlay apps may store data locally on the device, including settings, language preference, favorites, recently watched items, playback position, selected profile, content-list cache, EPG cache and safe diagnostics. Local storage improves speed and keeps the app usable after restart.
3. Playlist and media metadata
Channel names, logos, categories, movie posters, series data, EPG entries and stream URLs come from the user’s or provider’s external source. AuroraPlay does not create, verify, own or claim rights over that media metadata.
4. Diagnostics and stability
The app or portal may store limited diagnostic information such as loading status, player state, buffering events, feature errors or device type. Diagnostics should avoid storing passwords, full stream URLs or sensitive tokens wherever technically possible.
5. How data is used
Data may be used to activate devices, remember preferences, load authorized user-supplied playlists, operate future account/provider features, improve stability, prevent abuse, provide support and maintain security.
6. Third-party sources
When a user connects an external playlist or provider account, data may be requested from that external server. AuroraPlay is not responsible for third-party servers, third-party privacy practices, external content legality, uptime or data returned by those sources.
7. Security
Reasonable technical measures are used to protect access and reduce exposure of sensitive information. Users should only enter playlist credentials they are authorized to use and should protect their account/device access.
8. Data sharing
AuroraPlay does not sell personal data. Data may be shared only where needed for hosting, technical operations, legal compliance, fraud/security prevention, support handling or future payment/account services requested by the user.
9. Retention
Data is kept only as long as needed for the software, account, provider workflow, legal obligations, security logs or support history. Local app data may remain on the device until the user clears app data, logs out or uninstalls the app.
10. User choices
Users may request account or support-data review/deletion when backend account systems are available. Playlist data can usually be changed or removed by deleting the playlist/account configuration or clearing local app storage.
11. Children and lawful use
AuroraPlay is a technical media-player platform and is not directed to children. Users and providers are responsible for ensuring lawful, age-appropriate and authorized use of external media sources.
12. Updates
This policy may be updated as AuroraPlay adds backend, activation, provider panel, billing, mobile apps or additional platform features.
